EX7700 Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender, Only Broadcast 2 Band

Hello Netgear Community!

I Have 8 Devices of EX7700 Nighthawk Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender, and I make Mesh Connection from the main Router which also same device (EX7700). The Main Node Broadcasting 3 Band Network (One 2.4 GHz and Two 5 GHz)

My question is, after Mesh Network Setted Up, Why my Client Extender (Another 7 Devices of EX7700 Extender) Only Broadcast 2 Band Network (One 2.4 GHz And One 5 Ghz) instead of Tri-Band Network like the main node?

  • The triband ex7700 uses one of the wifi bands exclusively for a wireless backhaul. These works to reduce latency and increase speeds for the other 2 bands.

If you set it up with a wired backhaul in AP mode, then you'd have usage of all 3 bands.
