EX7700 drops iPads and iphone or pc connections
Hi I have wirelessly connected my virgin 3.0 Hub router to the nighthawk ex7700 extender. It all seemed to work fine, but I have now realised that devices in the house do not connect consistently. For example my laptop connects to the internet via the extender and works fine but my ipad on the same desk appears to be connected but will not connect to the internet. Later on the ipad and pc both work (I dont think I have changed anything) but the ipad downstairs does not work. This cycle has continued for the last 2 days. At one point ipads work but laptop or pc do not work.
If I turn off the extender everything works but I cant work in the area with limited wifi reception (the reason I bought the extender)
any suggestions? Or ideas? I am not very technical but happy to try things.
I have rebooted everything a few times. I also have the net gear nighthawk app on my ipad but cant see a setting to change that may help.
hopefully something simple????
thanks

- UkmartintAspirantI have exactly the same issue. Connected to by BT router with no problem for 4 months but now will not let some devices connect to the internet despite connecting to the WiFi. Devices report that the connection is there but there is no internet or worse still only report no internet when firing up a browser. Turn the extender off and all works okay again. I have reset and rejoined extender and the problem is still there. Very frustrating!

I have exactly the same issue. EX7700 drops connections - especially on iPad/iPhone, but also on Windows 10 laptops. Only a reboot of the wi-fi extender resolves the issue. Router is a Home Hub 3 from Virgin Media.
