EX7700 ext. connection light not amber but not white either and connection seems good

Had to restart extended because al of a sudden my iphone would not connect. My laptop and husbands phone was connected but not mine. After starting and restarting the phones network settings I used the Nighthawk app and restarted the extender. Now everything is connected but the connection light is not amber but not quite white either.

  • Maybe there's something in the floor causing blockages. try moving the extender around. things like foil line insulation, hvac, metal, can call cause signal blockaged. even tile can block signals. So sometimes a lateral move can help a lot.

    Which connection light? There's multiple on the ex7700. 

    router link led?

    client link led?

     

    are you having an issue with it since you rebooted it?

      It is the routter light. The router is a netgear router modem combo.

        • Solid white. Best connection.
        • Solid amber. Good connection.
        • Solid red. Poor connection.
        • Off. No connection.
