EXT2700 - PURCHASED USED, EXTENDER WILL NOT RESET TO FACTORY MODE

Hello,

 

I am having trouble getting my wifi extender to pop up on my wifi managers on my devices. Only one extender pops up under the name Werkartz I believe and when it is unplugged it does not appear. We have attempted to reset it to factory mode 4 different times, holding down the button for 5-10 seconds each time and it still appears as the old name. I cannot connect to it therefore I don't have access to change anything. 

 

I purchased this used on amazon and was wondering if someone could walk me through this.

    When you're pushing and holding reset, is the device plugged in? When you've held the reset button long enough, the lights will change. its usually 7-15 seconds but some have needed up to 30 seconds.
