Forced hijack
Hi,
Since tonight, whenever I want to reach one of my favorite webpage (netvibes.com) with Forefox, being connected to the EX6120, it gets hijacked to http://www.mywifiext.net/IA_hijack.htm
I have had this WiFi extender since about 6 months and no issue so far.
All the other browser tabs are reaching their websites OK.
When I connect directly to the home box signal, and capture http://netvibes.com in the address bar, I get an error message that http://www.mywifiext.net/IA_hijack.htm cannot be reached, all other browser tabs working fine with their websites
Earlier tonight, I had a Internet connectivity issue, and the Netgear local home page was displayed, as it had already happened sometimes. But apparently, it hijacked Netvibes then, which is my default home page/first tab in my browser.
I just tested accessing Netvibes with Edge and it works fine.
How can I "unhijack" it? Is it a Netgear or a Firefox setting?
Windows 10, Firefox 46.0.1, Bbox
EX6120, firmware v1.0.0.16_1.0.11
S/N: 4D615B7HA025C (considered as invalid by the support page...)
Thanks in advance for any help!
