How do I adjust security settings on AC1200 Range Extender to WPA?
I have a Samsung Smart TV (6 series, I MU6920) that won't connect with the extender. Saw another post that said changing the security settings on the extender to WPA may help. Any idea how to do that...

Hi - I visited the site, which took me to Netgear Genie. Under the menu, I checked Settings, wireless dropped down as an option, and i ventured there. There was no option for security, so i went into ever drop down menu possibility, and security was not listed anywhere. Any other thoughts?

under security options you want click the bubble that has WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] and then click apply at the top of the page.

Hi Darren, and thanks. The problem is that the WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES] options are grayed out, and I'm not able to select them to change them. Any suggestions on how to fix?

You may need to factory reset the extender then try to do the manual setup of the extender and it should allow you to select the security type.
