Mesh with powerline?

Hi,

I have been using a nighthawk mesh for over a year now with RAX50 router and 2x EAX20 extenders.

The distance of the extenders are bit to much to have good speed.

My internet speed (speed test on router) is a stable 400-450 mbps /25-30 mbps

Speed test on the extenders got 150-200 mbps download.

On my wifi devices close the the extenders download speeds never get above 50mbps.

The 5 Ghz signal on extenders also red most of time, so 5 ghz wifi not usable.

I can't get the extenders closer to the router, so is it possible to connect the extenders with powerlines to the router to make the speed faster on them?

Kind regards

    1. there isn't powerline based mesh extenders from netgear

    2. you could use a powerline adapter or moca adapter to connect the extenders and then just put them in access point mode

I have been looking at the Powerline 2000 extender so i can use devices on LAN instead of WIFI.

Want to keep the current mesh setup for the mobile devices, but use powerline for PC's who required better connection.
The EAX20 is on my desk, so i can use the 4 LAN ports as a switch or should i put a separated switch connector to the powerline / pc's?

      Kind regards,
