Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 and netgear ex8000

I want to extend my wifi That has 3 bands (netgear r8000) with netgear ex8000
But when i set it up as an Extender it Will only extend 2 bands and not The 3 bands??

Can anyone help me ?

Is it normal ?

    Hi Baun666 - This is normal behavior. The 3rd band is dedicated to the connection between the router and extender (backhaul)
