Router Suggestion

Greetings,

 

I currently own a standard DSL Smart/RG SR505N. This came with my DSL from TekSavvy. My current speed is 50Meg download 10Megs upload.

 

I love the mesh routers but it seems that they don't work with bridge mode and by just connecting the internet from my DSL unit to a mesh unit, I will loose the ability to connect my VPN. Unless there's something I'm not aware of and someone has a work around? Or another router they would suggest?

    You can use a mesh system but put the mesh system in access point mode. 

    The orbi devices support access point mode. 

    Then you just disable the wireless on the ISP supplied device to keep it from causing wireless interference.
