The SSID will not authenticate WN3000RP

I have set up my range extender correctly and the SSID has popped up.  When I go to connect to it from my smart phone, it says authentication problems.  I cannot get any help from live chat.

    Have you tried to tell the phone to forget the network and try to connect again?
