Using an X6S with LAN

I am trying to connect a seperate builidng in which I have run a cable out from D-Link router in the house. Can I use the Netgear Nighthawk X6S with the cable to extend my network to my workshop? If so how to I set it up?

Yes, you can do that. Set the EX8000 in AP mode (only way to work hardwired) and follow the standard setup for AP mode.&nbsp;How far was the run?

Thanks. The run is 300 feet. The shop is a steel builiding with little to no radio signal inside (no FM radio, no WiFi and no cell phone coverage).&nbsp;

300ft. Ouch. The rough limit for ethernet runs is 90-100 meters. And thats with a Cat6 line.

You'll want to do whatever you can to possibly reduce that distance as much a possible.
