WN2000RPTv3 connection problems with Sky router

I have a WN2000RPTv3 that is extending the signal for my Sky router. Until recently the connection between the two was fairly reliable but a little on the slow side -one reason was that distance between the two was at the maximum it could be. I decided to change the chance on my Sky router to 5 rather than the default 11 since there were many other routers in the area broadcasting on 11. I re-established the connection between the two. Since the switch, the connection between the WN2000 and the Sky router drops regularly requiring me to cycle the power button to reconnect. I have since moved the WN2000 much closer to the Sky router so the signa light is green but the problem persists. Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Saul
