WN604 Access Point question
Hi there, sorry if this is a stupid question, and I think it may be, but I wanted to check that the WN604 can be used as a wired access point to privide a wireless signal to my unit?
My situation is that I am living in temporary accom on a site with several chalets. The site has one incoming feed and each unit then has its own access point rather than router. (This I'm told is because individual routers would cause issues with multiple IP's)
Anyway, I have an EDIMAX AP at present, which is a bit flakey so what I need is to be able to have the WN604 connected by cable to my incoming feed, in effect being my unit's router. However, when reading the installation guide, it has confused me a bit (not difficult) as to whether it will work in this way.
My understanding when buying it was that the 4 ports were simple in/out ports and therefore would take the incoming feed, chuck out a wireless signal and be able to connect up to 3 other items by ethernet cable for a more stable connection.
If this is the case, should it then be a case of connecting wire and powering up and it'll be automatically available as a wireless source.
Thanks in advance

Hi adders66,
Yes, the WN604 will function like you described.
Please review 17 of 68 on how to deploy the access point: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WN604/WN604_UM_5June2014.pdf
