  • There is a physical reset button. Push it for 8 to 10 seconds and the router will reset to factory configuration. The default username and password are usually admin and password, respectively.

  • Okay. When I do that will what will show up in the WiFi list?. I have my Comcast internet as homeb will it show admin as what I connect to as the WiFi? When I'm trying to connect it to the internet that's the password that I can't remember...

No, admin is the username to log into the router's management page. The default Wi-Fi name and password may be printed on a label attached to the router. If there is no label, then you may have to connect a computer to the router with an Ethernet cable, log in and set up the Wi-Fi network.

If you have the model # of your router, then you can download instructions to set up your router from http://support.netgear.com.
