wn3000rp no net access

i purchased dir 505 but could not use it as a repeater so i bought a wn3000rp and i tried everyway to connect it as a repeater or access point but it just shows unidentified network and will not give me options to connect as a home network due to which i cannot connect the net i have re installed windows and tried it but it just wont happen can any1 give me a solution to connect to the net please or change it to home network i have a dell laptop thx:confused:

    with your dell laptop u can turn off the wireless utility.

    however, lets make sure the extender is installed properly:
    > plug in your extender
    >with your laptop connect to NETGEAR_EXT network
    > open up a browser
    >NETGEAR ginie will automatically pop up
    -if not, type in the address bar mywifiext.net
    >just follow each step as it will show you there
    >last thing is you will be connecting to your main network name with _EXT
