Very slow internet speeds
Hi all,
I am having a lot of trouble getting this router to work properly. My expected speeds are at least 900 down and 900 up. As I have connected the nighthawk to the fios G1100 router (which was in bridge mode) and could not receive the correct speeds that I would receive with my G1100. I also connected the Nighthawk by itself with the original WAN cable and still the speeds around 20 down and 20 up. Can anyone help?

A couple things you can try. But to start off with the G1100 also has routing over coax for its set top boxes so I'm not sure how fully function its bridge/modem only mode works.
1. Try putting it back in router mode and disable its wifi. Then put the ip address for the XR300 int the G1100's dmz.
2. also try manually setting the speed for the qos for the xr300

I'd read through a few of the posts about the g1100.
