XR500 and Xbox Console - How do I get Geo-filter to connect me to USA Host when I am in Europe?

Question

I bought the XR500 becasue of the Geo-filter capabilities, but I thought it would allow me to selectively adjust where I wish to connect to gaming servers, even if in another country.

However, I always seem to get connected to european servers no matter how I setup the filter. I am in the UK, but I want to connect to USA servers.

I use XBox Console, playing Call of Duty and I set radius over East US with 500 mile range, Strict Mode is On, Ping assist is set high to allow for the distance, but every server or peer I connect to seems to be showing on the map as in Europe. I've tried with Fast Search on and off. I do get connected to games, but not where I have set the filter radius.

This seems to be against what the product was advertised to do.

You will need to set Ping Assist to 0, that is how you force servers in another country, otherwise it may get you games closer to home.

Ping Assist at 0It seems that in my case setting Ping Assist to zero, does not work. My connection are still all initiating in Europe.&nbsp;
