XR700 FW version 1.0.1.34, 36, 38 missing Telnet Enable ?
It seems the xr700 FW versions 1.0.1.34, 36, 38 all have the Telnet Enable missing in the debug.htm page. Only back in 1.0.1.20 the Telnet Enable option is available. Can we have the Telnet re-enabled in the next FW release?
I would need to have router command line access through Telnet to query and fix whatever is needed.
Thanks.

Re: XR700 FW version 1.0.1.34, 36, 38 missing Telnet Enable ?
There are limitless number of things one can do on the Linux kernel of this powerful quad core Arm7 processor. You can install Adguard Home, DNS tools, among many things on the XR700 router that people have implemented on the R9000 which has identical HW. One key item is the ability to erase corrupted nvram through Telnet when the Netgear FW corrupts the router, very common.
Since this router was sold with the Telnet option available, Netgear cannot just take it away without a very valid reason. Very bad business for those who have invested on this router for its options. Please have Netgear add it back. Otherwise people who want to use Telnet are stuck on version 20 FW.
