xr1000 5g wifi not showing on iphone 16 pro max

My Netgear XR1000 5G WiFi is not showing up on my iPhone 16 Pro Max unless I restart the phone. I have also tried connecting with my iPhone 15 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max, but the network does not appear on those devices either. However, it shows up properly on my laptop. I have already turned off and on various options individually and altogether without success. I downgraded the firmware from V1.0.0.72_1.0.62 to V1.0.0.68_1.0.54, but the issue persists. I have also changed the WiFi channel and region settings. What could be causing this issue, and is there a solution?

Enable Implicit BEAMFORMING - Boosts WiFi speed, reliability, & range for all mobile devices
Enable MU-MIMO
Enable AX - This WiFi mode will enable AX features such as OFDMA

Change the WiFi mode for 5GHz to 2400Mbps, apply, reboot, then check please

I checked with a 600 Mbps, but it’s not showing.

So it only seems to be iOS devices that can't see it, everything else can? Are all devices & the router from the same region or was the router or phones bought from/in a different country for example?

Why does it show when I restart my iPhone, but its not showing on Samsung devices aswell? This suggests that it’s not an issue with the mobile device or iOS. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, which supports Wi-Fi 7, still doesn’t display it on either the Samsung or the iPhone.

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Both are from the same region. I bought the mobile and the router from the Uk, and now I am using both in Pakistan. and furrye38, I know that. That's why I turned off the random changing option on my iPhone.

Is Smart Connect enabled on the router? Try with it disabled then enabled again.

SSID from the router should be seen by any device. 

Do other non Apple devices see the SSID name?

That could be why, I don't pretend to know what the rules are in regards to frequencies and the channels allowed in Pakistan or whether they block certain frequencies but that should be a consideration as the router and phones would be region locked to the UK using different frequencies and channels. If you can look up the details and change the channels so that it's using ones that would also be used in Pakistan - are any UK based devices seeing 5GHz?

I tried using the smart option, and it automatically connects to 5G. However, when I separate them, it doesn't work.

Then it shows on my iPad M4, which I bought from the UK. I don't understand why that is.

There is no specific reason I can think of as to why this would happen unless settings for 5GHz differ - have you adjusted anything in Advanced Wireless settings for 5GHz? If not, adjust them and see if it helps at all.
