Range expander
I have a C7800. Is it possible to set it up as a range expander/booster, with a different cable modem/router (e.g., Nighthawk CAX80) being the primary device/wifi hub?

Re: Range expander
You can make it work as an access point through a round about method.

Re: Range expander
Is there a reason you're wanting to go from the C7800 to the CAX80?
the C7800 was the best modem/router combo device prior to the CAX.
You could always add an extender to it or even just an RAX router as an access point. Or even use the C7800 as a modem only device.

Re: Range expander
Thanks for the response. The CAX80 has a higher throughput speed with my provider. I was curious whether it is possible to setup the C7800 as a range expander.
