5Ghz channel 116 no longer works
Nighthawk(R) X4S R7800 Hardware Version R7800 Firmware Version V1.0.2.92 GUI Language Version V1.0.0.439 Operation Mode AP Region Europe Mode Up to 1733 Mbps Hi guys. Today I set my Nighthawk to 5GHz channel 116. The router seemed happy, but I could no longer see it on any laptop, tablet or smartphone. I could imagine that some devices do not support that channel but ALL seems unlikely. I am pretty sure that I tried that before and most of my devices could connect on channel 116. So is it possible that there is a problem with higher channels on the Nighthawk? Maybe since Firmware Version V1.0.2.92? Has anybody else experienced this? Thanks for any help.

Yep. Channels 36-104 seem fine. Only got a little crowded where I live.

Re: 5Ghz channel 116 no longer works
96-140 should be workable under European legislation, not all up to combined 80 MHz (or 160 MHz) under DFS/TPC limitations.
Worth noting 120-128 are forbidden in Australia and Canadian regulations (so there is no 80MHz total bandwidth available with the base channel 116). Probably some of these limits were accidentally applied to the European config?
