Cannot connect to router
I have rebooted my router twice but it will not show up on the netgear genie app

You gave us nothing to go off.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.

This could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?
Does whatever it is support your unnamed router?
