Firm Ware update for R6230
I just got an email stating I need to update the firmware. It doesn't state what version we should be running. Any way when I try to run the update through the NightHawk app, I always get the message that my firmware is ok. Nothing to update.
I was going to try to run the update through my browser to see if it is any different, but my laptop does not have a port for an Ethernet cable. How would I do that without an Ethernet port?
How can I check what version of firmware my route is running.
If you log into the router through the browser, you can see on the status page what version of firmware you're on.
You can then compare it to the current release version. It seems like every 6 months (or so), netgear must send out an update notice and we see a bunch of posts on here about update. Half the time, the person is already updated.
