I have a r7200 router

I got this router (r7200, ac2100) because it said it was VPN compatible. I am attempting to use nordvpn as a router VPN but it seems this router, even though it says VPN compatible is not compatible.
Is there any help available?

I would review the user manual on what VPN configuration maybe used on the router.

There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
    Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.

Also contact NordVPN on how to configure and connect to there VPN since that there product.

VPNs come in different shapes and sizes.

The best way to find a compatible router is to decide which of the dozens of VPNs are out there that you favour and to ask the people who supply it which routers work for its service.

Some VPNs need custom firmware, something that Netgear cannot support on the grounds that it doesn't know how the firmware works, and doesn't get paid to study it.
