Need acess point added to static IP setup
I have an AC2600 setup with static IP for use with a camera system that is used for live streaming. I have the system hard wired with cat 7 Ethernet cable from this router to another location within the building. I need to provide a WIFI access point by placing a second router to this setup.
What is the best way to configure the second router to pair off this hard wired network?. I have a PoE switch at the end point and the camera, computer and the second router would be connected via the ethernet cable.
I need to reprogram since the fiber optics feed was damaged and I must reconfigure the entire network.

Are you going to be powering the AP with the POE? If so, I've got a WAX218 that works pretty rock solid over POE. While its wouldn't connect as part of a mesh, it'd still work. Or what type of AP are you looking for?
