Night hawk R700 keep disconnecting from the internet
My netgear R7000 started to disconnect randomly from the internet about 2-3 weeks ago. It is now hapening 2-3 times per week.
My router is connected to a Helix (videotron) modem in bridge mode. The setup has been the same for 5 months, but it started recently. I've activated Smart Connect option in Netgear app approximatly at the same time. I've turned it off last week, but still got the issue.
Netgear Firmware version is V1.0.11.106
When I restart my R7000, internet connection get back.
I've also tried a hard reset on the Helix 2 weeks ago.

What actual helix is it?
You might try the newest firmware 1.0.11.122. Install that firmware, do a factory reset, and then during the install process, don't use a backup configuration.

- DferronAspirantAfter updating to V1.0.11.123_10.2.100 it worked for a week and half but then the problem came back. I’ve noticed today that even if the router says it’s offline and devices cannot connect to the internet, it still ping, upload and download..
I’m a bit tired of restarting the router every 2-3 days and thinking about changing the router.

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
