Nighthawk x6 Not Hard Resetting

However, upon multiple attempts to hard reset (holding reset 7sec + until lights flash) even in different conditions (isp Ethernet plugged in/out, while turned off/on, different power sources) the box will NOT reset to default SSID and password. Previous existing SSID is still broadcast and still password protected.
Can anyone make a recommendation for getting access to the router and resetting the security?

Perhaps you now know how it got there.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for
"Factory" or "reset"?
Normally, the documented procedure (with no data cables connected)
will work. A Web search for terms like:
netgear 30-30-30 reset
should find instructions for a supposedly more drastic/effective method.
When all the Reset possibilities fail, you might try the TFTP
recovery scheme. See, for example:

> [...] password on the SSID [...]
Use a wired connection, where the wireless-network passphrase makes
no nevermind?

Re: Nighthawk x6 Not Hard Resetting
The 30-30-30 method worked great for me. Thanks.
