Re: R7000P - Why does the internet led blink amber
Could be the ISP services or the ISP modem.
Would need more information.
Read the user manual for what the LED colors mean on the router.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Re: R7000P - Why does the internet led blink amber
No explanation in the manual for color of "internet led". I can receive internet directly from the modem and I have tried different cables from modem to router.

Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.

A bit more explanation than a blank message might be good. Otherwise we are all flailing around.
Maybe the cookie monster ate you connection.
