R7800 can't connect to DVR/Cameras port forwarding

I installed the R7800 and have AT&T Uverse.  I can't seem to see my cameras when I try to log in through the app.

I can see everything when I go to the ip address of the cameras so I am thinking my port forwarding isn't working or I did something wrong and not create the bridge correctly between AT&T modem/router and Netgear router?

I already did the Port forwarding on the Netgear router and opened the ports.

Can anyone help me please. Thank you.

  • You have double NAT.  In order for port forwarding on the R7800 to work, you need to enable IP Passthrough or DMZ Plus (they're the same feature, only different names) on the UVerse gateway.  Point the feature at the MAC address of your R7800, then reboot the gateway.

Are you using the r7800 for it's wifi ?

If so you could disable the at&t Uverse router's wifi and place the r7800 in access point mode just a idea.
