R8000 WAN not updating when the modem updates the address from ISP
WAN is not updating with the modem WAN after update from ISP. The router has to be reset for the update to take place. Genie shows Internet connection is GOOD when there is no Internet. As you can see by the image below. Should be connecting to S-housenet-4
Router was factory reset twice as noted by support on Sep 9, 2016. Same problem, fixed nothing.

Hi Chazman,
Try reloading the previous firmware of the router and reset. Observe if still the same problem.

Community TeamI rolled back the firmware. the GUI did not change. have to wait a couple of days on the ISP to change again
