And that's the reason. The access point itself sees a wireless
connection, but the router sees only the wired connection (from the
access point).
When a wireless device connects to the router's built-in access
point, the router knows that it's a wireless connection; everything else
is a wired connection (so far as the router knows).

I have 1 main router and 11 ( access point router) same model.
i used same config for all routers....i.e same ssid, password, and same channel also.
but the problem is my 2.4 ghz signal are weak...signal can't break 2 walls..signal goes to zero.
channel for 2.4 ghz is Auto
channel for 5ghz (1st band ) 36
channel for 5ghz (1st band ) 149
channels are for all 12 routers
any suggestion..

One more questions.
Users are connected to my access point but they are showing as wired connect ,not showing in 2.4 ghz band and 5 ghz band..
