ac322 - smart connect

I am trying to enable smart connect on my AC3200 nighthawk router.

In the manual it is stated and pictured that the smart connect is selected on each of the 5 ghz band.

My display is different on my settings screen. smart connect is selected before any of the bands are configured and this forces the 2.5 ghz and the two 5 ghz bands to have the same ssid.

I have upgraded to the latest firmware version (except for the hotfix).

How do I get my firmware to match the manual.

You can just disable smart connect.

then setup your own ssid's for the 3x bands.

When the R8000 first come out, smart connect only combined the 2x 5ghz bands. but upgrades to the firmware let it combine all 3x bands. With smart connect enabled, it uses 1 wireless SSID name for all of them and band steers.
