Hi,
On tech specs for this ap, taken from here http://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-routers/R9000.aspx?cid=wmt_netgear_organic#tab-... , we have in WiFi Band section that for both 2.4 and 5 GHz max modulation is 256 QAM, which are correctly correlated to speeds (800 and 1733). However, below, in Standards section, it says 64 QAM for 2.4 (which is indeed the standard) and 1024 QAM for 5 GHz. I think it is a mistake here for 5GHz.

Its right . 256QAM for 4 spatial stream makes it 1024QAM
Its called Nitro QAM.
