Isolate regular and guest WiFi MK62/MR60
The MK62 - MR60 router needs a way to properly separate the regular WiFi from the Guest WiFi to properly secure IoT and private network.
At least I have not found this feature in any of the settins.
Best.

Betreff: Isolate regular and guest WiFi MK62/MR60
I have exactly the same question.
My MR60 System with 3 Satellites is in AP-Mode. Now i like to operate an additional IoT Guest Network but have issues like:
- The devices in the Guest Network are not seeing each other by IP (Option like: "Allow Guest to see each other" is missing)
- The devices are not properly separated from private network
Does anybody know if it works different, when the system is operated in Router-Mode?

I think this would be an opportunity for a KB article from Netgear?
Thanks

I did a test by changing in to Router-Mode (a lot of cable connect/disconnect 🙂 ) - the effect is the same and the issues with the guest network are identical to the issues in AP-Mode

@netgear would it be possible to get an official statement --
are there plans to make this a feature of the MK6x series? Is it not planned? Are we missing something? Do we all need to purchase a separate wifi and managed switch to fully separate wifi networks?
I think its a very straight forward solution that you could offer here and would help many others.
Thank you.
