MR60 Stopped allowing IoT devices from connecting
Hi. 2 weeks ago I woke up one morning and all of a sudden non of my lights or tvs or anything I has connected to Alexa was working. It took me 3 days to realize that every time I tried to reset it with the reset button, it wasn't I wasn't home last week but I was told that nothing worked. This week I thought I fixed most of them nut the Alexa app under "devices" just pulses and doesn't show anything. I just tried to connect my Joule so I could make dinner. That's when I realized the wifi wasn't working anymore. it still broadcasting the ssid and computers connect but then you open a browser it says you are not connected in the window. Existing IoT lights and stuff that were already connected still are and work intermittently, usually when controlled by my phone and not thru Alexa. I'm not sure if that's because maybe "tap-to-run" uses bluetooth. I already called Verizon in the beginning and they said it wasn't on their end. and I would think it was Alexa except it just doesn't work when I try to add things to the wifi step before the Alexa connection step.

I also live in a basement and its long and I would rather use my rax78 but the modem is in the front room and the computer in the back room and it didn't get good signal back there. so I started using my MR60. is there a way I can use the RAX78 with the MR60?

1. what firmware is on the mr60 and its satellites?
2. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
You can use the RAX in conjunction with the MR device.
Just go RAX (route rmode)---->MR (in access point mode)
- RockstahStatusAspirantIt’s a Verizon Fios Nokia bvmg500fra.
And then firmware on the mr60 is the newest. - RockstahStatusAspirant
I tried to do this. I'm not completely sure I was doing it right. So I first reset the RAX and made the network with that. I then Unplugged the network the ethernet from the RAX and then put it into the MR where I then started it in AP Mode. But then I couldn't figure out how to connect it to the network from the RAX. So right now I have it wired to the RAX. I wanted everything to be on the same network so I read in a forum to just use the same network name but change the channel of the 2.4g.
The issue now is some Things will connect to the 5G network. but anything still trying to get on the 2.4 can't.
