New modem, same mesh
I need to change my modem. Will I have to change all of my mesh settings or can I just plug the Nighthawk MK6W into the new modem, keeping all of my cameras, TVs, thermostats connected? I am doing this remotely with a guest in my home and I want to minimize the work they need to do. Hopefully it is plug and play.

No.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.

Turn on computers and rest of network.

Re: New modem, same mesh
It should be pretty plug and play.
get the modem activated.
then follow the guide @FURRYe38 wrote on connecting the router.
I've rarely needed to do a factory reset on my router after changing modems. Its happened but usually if I'm also changing speed tiers.
