Nighthawk AX3600 2.4 ghz no internet but 5 ghz and wired are fine
Everything with this router has been working perfectly for the past 10 months, but a few days ago the 2.4 ghz frequency stopped having internet. The frequency is still visible on devices and can be connected to, but it says connected with no internet. The 5ghz frequency and wired devices are still functioning perfectly.
I have tried restarting the router both from the web app and by unplugging it for ~30 seconds to no avail. I have also made sure I am updated to the latest firmware. I assume the problem isn't with the modem or ISP as, like I said, the 5ghz and wired connections work fine.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Nighthawk AX3600 2.4 ghz no internet but 5 ghz and wired are fine
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Are you using one SSID configuration or using the Custom SSID for wifi SSID separation?
How many MS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between MR📡 and MS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

Re: Nighthawk AX3600 2.4 ghz no internet but 5 ghz and wired are fine
I am on the latest version of the firmware that netgear's auto update installs. I can get the modem information if needed but since 2.4 is the only thing not functioning there is definitely internet getting to the router.
I think I am using the Custom SSID since the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz networks each have their own SSID.
I don't know what RBS stands for, if it is the number of satellites then it is 2. My house is 2400 Sq Ft and the satellites are over 30 feet away from the router.
I was using auto channels but tried setting the 2.4 to use 1 and 6 but neither resolved the problem. I live in a neighborhood where everyone has wifi so there are many wifi neighbors, but everything was working until a few days ago.
I have not done a factory reset as I would like this to be a last resort if all else fails.

Just trying to establish if there is a router built in to the modem is all here. Why we ask for brand and model info here. Please give details here.

Corrected my post. MS is satellite. MR is the main router box unit.

Lets give this a try since what you have done so far has not resolve this issue.
I would reset and setup from scratch using a wired PC and web browser. After setting up, Leave the wifi default configuration for using a signal SSID name. Don't use a custom separate. Turn OFF the MS. Then check for 2.4Ghz with a device that will connect to it or check with a wifi scanner to see if you see the 2.4Ghz SSID broadcast.
If you don't then try setting a custom SSID name, make it a simple one. No special charaters in the same. Call it MK2 and the 5Ghz one MK5. Apply the setting then check for the 2.4Ghz signal.

This is not a reliable check of the firmware version. The auto update can miss new release. I have seen people here saying they have "the latest" when in reality they are several years behind the latest.
The only way to check is to compare the installed version against the latest available on the support pages for your device.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software and firmware for your device.
