Cannot connect to router after firmware update

Hi all,
A preemptive thank you to all for your help in this odd matter.
I have owned an R7800 Nighthawk X4S router for about a year with no issues whatsoever. About a month ago, I updated my R7800 Nighthawk X4S router to firmware version V1.0.2.60 and immediately noticed, upon the router coming back online following the firmware update, that none of my family's devices are able to connect to either the 5GHz or 2.4GHz band.
- On my Android phone, I type in my password and connect. The status of the connection (as shown on the phone's Wifi settings) immediately goes to "Saved", then after about 10 seconds, "Disconnected", then in another 5 seconds or so, "Disabled". It stays on this status and I am unable to truly connect to it at any time. I have verified the PW is correct and I have tried this on 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. I have also "forgotten" the connection on my phone multiple times to reset the phone's connection to the network.
- On my iPhone, I have a similar situation. I type my password and get a message "Unable to join the network "<my network SSID>". I have "forgotten" this connection as well, still the same issue.
- On my Windows laptop, I type in my PW when connecting and it says "Can't connect to this network". Have forgotten this as well, still nothing.
Here are the settings I think are relevant. If I am forgetting something, please let me know.
- Internet Status: Good (My wired connections work flawlessly on all devices)
- Smart Connect is off
- 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connections are both enabled and show as "On"/"Good" etc. in all menus
- Default channel # for the 5GHz connection
- Mode (Up to 1733 Mbps)
- WPA2-PSK [AES] security
- Guest Network disabled
- Access Control Off
Troubleshooting steps I've tried with no luck:
- Forgetting network and re-entering PW on all devices at connection
- Resetting network PW
- Power cycling Router manually
- Rebooting router via Reboot button
- Turning off and turning back on individual radios (2Ghz and 5Ghz)
- Turning on Access Control and adding device MACs to "Allowed"
- When doing this, even though devices appear in "Allowed devices" they still cannot connect.
- Access Rule general rule: Allow all new devices to connect
- Rebooting all devices (iPhone/laptop/Android)
Thanks again for all the help, I'm stumped at this one (even though I work in IT)!

I thought I posted the solution, but it appears that I did not.
- I reverted my firmware to the version directly before mine, V1.0.2.60.
- I then immediately updated to the latest firmware.
- I then adjusted the password on 2.4 and 5 GHz bands to something incredibly easy to type to minimize the chance of errors. When I connected via my devices, it worked.
- I then changed my password to something more complicated and verified that it worked.

Does that mean a settings reset? Did it really reset the settings?
Did you manually reconfigure the router after the reset? Restoring
old/saved settings (which may be corrupt or incompatible with the
different firmware) could restore old (or create new) problems.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Factory Settings".
If you held the Reset button down long enough to get some unusual
activity from the LED indicators, and that didn't actually reset things,
then you might try it again with all the data lines disconnected from
the router.
You might also try loading an older firmware version, to see if the
problem is isolated to "version V1.0.2.60".
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads. (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".) Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions.
