HOW TO DISABLE THE 5 G BUT KEEPING THE 2.4G ACTIVE ONLY ON A AC 1750 SMART WIFI ROUTER

HOW CAN I DISABLE THE 5G ON A AC1750 SMART WIFI ROUTER AND KEEP THE 2.4G ACTIVE

    A couple things. 

    1. Caps lock. It helps for reading these. 

    2. What router do you have? AC1750 is a speed, not a model.

    3. why do you want to disabled 5ghz? Its much faster than 2.4ghz. Maybe explaining why you're wanting to do something will help figure out the issue.

      I have a sensi wifi thermostat that requires 2.4v for it to work properly

        You don't have to shut off 5ghz for it work. You simply have to have make sure the phone is connected to the 2.4ghz during setup of the thermostat. 

        You shouldn't need to but its lazy coding on the developers side that cause you to need to do so.
