NBN Ready? - R8000|Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Smart WIFI Router
I already have my nbn modem it's a simple LAN cable you plug into the router to receive the internet however when i do this and try to use the smart installation it doesn't pick up any internet. I am 100% certain that there is a working connection on the line as when i plug in a cheaper stock iiNet router it receives the internet no problem. Currently i am piggy backing the Nighthawk off the iiNet Router via a LAN cable.
Any one able to help out?
Located in Australia.

yes it works!
Took me a while to find all the parameters, I'm with iinet and FTTC
- in internet set up, configure PPOE and your logins from your ISP, everything else in default
+ mac spoofing if needed (plug the default modem router from your ISP, go to the Ewan settings and copy the MAC adress from the machine to your netgear MAC adress)
- In Advanced set up, go to VLAN/IPTV and enable VLAN with an ID at 2

Yes,
It works with a direct cable to the internet port or even through a powerline adapter.
Mac spoofing was not necessary after all, it works without with iinet.

hi, which port did you select? I can't see internet port as an option. Thanks
