Netgear Router Nighthawk not supported with Spectrum Internet

Listed here are all the Spectrum approved routers.

https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/modems-routers-wireless-adapters/

I recently bought a Netgear Nighthawk router from amazon (AC1900 - Model C7000v2/C7000-100NAS).
Set it up and called Spectrum to activate my internet. I received a warning everytime I try go to a site saying something along the lines of: "This modem is not on compatible."
Called Spectrum again and asked about the situation. They said they block all other compatible modems that are not on the approved list (Link above).

I keep reading online that it is a working router with Spectrum. Does anyone have any news on the change of approve list?

- Thanks

Edit: Typos

Edit2: Mode number

  • Finally had some free time to work with tech support. Turned out the original person who tried activiating router was not the sharpest tool in the shed.

New tech guy got me done in 10 mins. Thanks for the help all.

What modem or router did you buy?

    Model numbers help.

You listed the A7000 which is a wireless usb adapter.

        The C7000 works with spectrum.

And its on the qualified up to 400mbps list.

And my in laws are running this same modem on spectrum with 200 mbps service.

It potentially could be a line issue or just having a bad technician provisioning it.
