Nighthawk R7000 and AXIS 207W Network Camera
Hi all,
Following problem :
AXIS 207W Network Camera & Netgear Nighthawk R7000, The Axis doesnt see my netgear network.
He sees the neighbours network, sometimes my other router (weak signal) but never the nighthawks. Not even when i place the camera next to the router.
While i have no problems with other devices, Android, Apple, Windows 7 & 10, Playstation 4 all have no problems connecting.
When i connect the camera on one of the wired ports it works perfectly, only i have a red light instead of a white on the correnspondel led.
Im thinking the camera is causing the issue, anyone expierienced something like this ?
Thanks in advance.
Mikhail

Hi Mikhail,
The somewhat aged 207W should recognize and be able to connect to the R7000 on the 2.4 GHz band (Wireless interface AXIS 207W/207MW is IEEE 802.11g/b).

As per the https://www.axis.com/files/datasheet/ds_207_combo_32848_en_0904_lo.pdf data sheet, the RJ-45 Ethernet port is 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, Auto-MDIX - if you compare the r7000 documentation, the red (effectively more amber) lunk LED port does indicate a 100Mb/s (or even slower) link - nothing wrong with that part.
