R6700v.2 reboots every few hours after installing firmware V1.2.0.76_1.0.1
We use Amazon Firesticks to watch TV and every few days we would lose the router connection. I installed firmware version: V1.2.0.76_1.0.1 and now the problem happens every few hours. I have reset the router to factory defaults, and reinstalled the firmware, nothing has fixed this very annoying problem. Any one have any suggestions?

you can downgrade the firmware.
follow the manual firmware upgrade process but you use the older firmware.

I have downloaded and installed the previous version of the firmware. I'll let you know.
Many thanks.

After just about 24 hours I have not had any reboots. I can only assume it was the new firmware. How does Netgear handle things like this? Should I try to contact them and let them know there is an issue? Do they monitor this forum?

I had same problem.
Starting in December my router reboots every few hours.
I just ordered new router - but only today I discovered this thread.
I installed old version V1.2.0.74_1.0.1 and disabled automatic update.
Let's hope it works.- Thaddeus-KAspirant
It is DEFINITELY a driver problem.
Since I rolled back to Router Firmware Version
V1.2.0.74_1.0.1
I HAD NO ISSUES!!!
The router did not reboot even once. It was rebooting every few hours before.
Netgear - please take a not and fix it.
In the meantime I disabled automatic firmware updates.
