R7000 Not reading external hard drive full space.

I have an external hard drive that is a 2T.  It is installed into a box that has external power and a usb cable.  When you plug the usb cable into any computer, it reads that there is space of 1.8 T.  Which is about right.  WHen I plug it into the router it only shows that it is 922GB.  I know the hard drive works, because I have a ton of stuff on it, the only reason I noticed that it isn't a 1T drive is because I went into the router settings (192.168.1.1) and event here it recognied that it is a 2T drive.  Any ideas would be helpfull.

The usual cause of that is drive with separate partitions. ReadySHARE can handle just the one partition.

So I thought about that, but I plugged this hard into the computer, and it reads only the one partition, and it reads that there is 1.8T total. When plugbed back directly into the router, it reads 922G again.

That doesn't tell you about the partitioning. You need to check that in something like Windows disk manager.
