R9000

I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted that my router stopped working. After the last update, the router doesn’t even show up or connect. I think it’s absurd to pay $400 for such a poor product . I’m at my wits end and lost business time on the internet has me ready to scream yet I’m supposed to pay another $100+ to get support.

What modem/gateway is it connected to?

What are the led's on it doing (color, blinking/solid, etc) for all the leds?

Are you able to access it with a hardwired device?

How were you attempting to install firmware to it?

I’m using an old windstream modem. A new one is supposed to be on the way, but the modem is working just fine.
The LED’s are on and solid blue
I am unable to access the router at all.
I had updated the firmware on my iPhone. If I do it on my computer I’m afraid that I will need instructions.

Thank you kindly, my frustration got the best of me, however I’m still extremely dissatisfied with Netgear. I invested in their product like so many others, yet for them to provide little to no support and read that the support and firmware is being shipped out to 3rd parties with bad updates is just a signal to wear society is today. I’m sure that stockholders don’t experience any of these issues

Have you tried factory resetting the r9000? (push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on)

Is this a new purchase or have you had it for a while?

Do you know what windstream one it is? I don't have windstream but i thought they tended to use modem/router combo devices which can cause a double nat.
