Bern64

I usually recommend to people wanting more than 1 extender, to get an actual mesh system like netgear Orbi or the MK series.
They support both wired and wireless backhauls. Versus if you use the triband extenders hardwired in, they act as access points and not as mesh extenders.

@plemans Thank you for your answer.
If I go for the Netgear Orbi installation, I would have the following configuration:
1 router (from the tel company) not emitting a wifi but connecting 1 Orbi in access point (RJ45), a second Orbi also in access point because of the thick wall and add the third Orbi as mesh extenders.
Doing that, would I have a whole wifi mesh in my house, without need for changing passwd and so on?
Thanks for your reply,
Best regards,

Yes. The Orbi system can be ran in access point mode.

It also supports both wired and wireless backhaul connections and still function properly as a mesh.
