X6 R7900 not giving correct internet speeds

Recently upgraded my internet package from 175down to gigabit. I've been able to hit my gigabit speed when directly connected to my modem but I can't get close when using my router. Usering wired connections on all devices I'm testing my speed with. Also the internet speed test on the router (under QoS settings) has never hit more than 450mbps.
I've restarted the modem and router multiple times. Tried different cables and ports. QoS is turned off.

Firmware on your router?
What modem are you using?
have you tried factory resetting your router and starting over? occassinoally the prior qos settings are retained and limit speeds.
If you factory reset, push and hold reset while the device is fully powered on. It should take 7-15 seconds but the lights will change when you've held it long enough.

Re: X6 R7900 not giving correct internet speeds
Firmware version: 1.0.3.18_10.0.42 with no updates available
Mode is Netgear CM1200
I'll attempt a factory reset soon when the internet is not in use.

Make sure you reboot the router right after the factory reset is complete.

Re: X6 R7900 not giving correct internet speeds
Looks like a factory reset fixed everything. I feel so silly that I didn't try it earlier.
