AX6000 WiFi 6, 10Gbps Max download (CAX80) / AT&T Fiber BGW 320
I just changed from Spectrum cable to AT&T Fiber 1000 (940Mbps download, 880Mpbs upload). AT&T installs a combination ONT/Gateway (BGW 320) in a single box and forces you to use their router. The official position is that you can install a router behind it in IP Passthrough mode. I'm curious if its even worth trying to do this with my CAX80. Since I can't use the cable modem feature, can I use it to extend/strengthen the WiFi or is it best to try and resell on eBay?
I just reset my CAX80 to factory default and plugged it into AT&T's BGW 320, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated, thank you.

Re: AX6000 WiFi 6, 10Gbps Max download (CAX80) / AT&T Fiber BGW 320
You can't.
the CAX80 has a modem only mode but not a router only mode.
so when it detects no modem connection, won't work.
some of the older ones you could force into a "access point" type of setup but this one you can't.
Sorry.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity
