Nighthawk AX5 RAX30 Wifi Stopped working however Ethernet is fine
Hey all. As of last night our wifi stopped working entirely. However, ethernet devices connected work correctly. I only use this as a WiFi router, since we have a main modem, and it taps internet for the WiFi through that. The ethernet ports on the router work correctly - My computer has internet through the nighthawk right now - However, the WiFi doesn't work at all. The networks are there on wifi devices such as phone etc, however there is zero speed to it. At all.
Wifi analytics on the netgear app show there is something being broadcasted, and the 2.4/5g lights on the router are lighting up. Connecting anything to them yields nothing. Actually, going to a webpage sometimes will say I need to "Sign in to the network" like it's hotel Wifi.
To make things worse, connecting directly to it through the local gateway on ethernet is slow! It takes up to 7 seconds to get to the next page, or load the home page.
Things tried: Updating firmware, hitting the tiny reset button for 30 seconds to fully reset to default, however nothing works.
I spent a couple hundred on this thing and I'd love to know if there's a fix for it!

EDIT: Issue seems to have been resolved, somehow?
Left it unplugged for 20 minutes, did a full reset, and it fixed itself.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
