RAX200 no USA option
So I just updated to version 1.0.5.132 and after I updated I was not able to select America (USA) as the region.
I have lost a lot of WiFi range, and is just not good anymore.
Anyone know which version had America option?
and Yes, the router was from America.
Thanks,
Steve

Re: RAX200 no USA option
That's strange, my RAX200 (also purchased from USA) has never had the region/country selection option. Not on current (latest) firmware nor on previous firmwares. Where in the router settings were you able to select region on older firmware?

Re: RAX200 no USA option
Ah yes I can see it now, but region setting is greyed out, ie its locked to region where you purchased it and cannot change it. AFAIK on the RAX200 its always been like that on all firmware versions. Do you not see the screen below?

This seems to be the case for things sold in the USA, perhaps for legal reasons. Other countries don't see the same lockdown.
On some devices there is a way to unlock that setting.
Here is an earlier conversation about different hardware:

Sadly, this relies on the ability to enable Telnet on a router, something that Netgear is making harder by the day.
